Decompiling progress program?

A consultant company compiles a Progress program that generated .r file that we ran to process information in our Progress database, but now the program has expired. What can we do to remove the expiration date, if this is even possible?

In what way is it "expired"? Is there an error message associated with it?

I strongly suspect that this is internal logic that your consulting company put in place.

There is a decompiler that is occasionally touted in the "development" forum. As I recall, "pdecode" is the user name that offers it. In many jurisdictions you might potentially be in legal trouble if you were to use it to defeat something like the above.
