The Boston Globe is just one of the organizations that has recognized Progress for our company culture and inclusion and diversity initiatives.

People power Progress. Our employees and customers are at the center of everything we do. So, when we get recognized for the programs and initiatives we have in place at our offices around the world, it’s something to celebrate.

“Our culture thrives because our people are as committed to one other as they are to our customers, partners and to the community around us,” said Katie Kulikoski, Chief People Officer, Progress. “They continuously act according to our values, hold one another accountable and identify new ways to support the global community—all while continuing to serve our customers. It is an honor to receive these accolades because they recognize the amazing work of our people.”

A Commitment to Company Culture

This month, The Boston Globe included Progress in its annual “Top Places to Work” list for the third consecutive year. Based on data collected from employees, the list recognizes outstanding places to work in Massachusetts. Progress ranked sixth in the “Large Company” category and was also the highest-ranking software company in the category.

In addition to being recognized by The Boston Globe, Progress received the bronze “Employer of the Year” award of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, highlighting our commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment. Progress also won the 2023 Career Show Awards’ “Program for Young Parents” category for our child daycare facility in Sofia, Bulgaria and for the support we provide to employees with young children.

Cultivating Inclusion and Diversity

We strive to foster inclusion and diversity throughout our company. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Progress for Tomorrow, allows us to focus our efforts and give back to our people and communities.

In the second half of 2023, Progress won multiple awards for our commitment to CSR and inclusion and diversity. The Boston Globe named Progress a 2023 DEI Champion for encouraging policies that support diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. Additionally, The Boston Club recognized Progress as one of the 15 largest publicly traded companies in Massachusetts with at least three women directors and at least three women executive officers in its annual Census of Women Directors and Executive Officers of Massachusetts Public Companies.

The Green Organisation also awarded Progress an International CSR Excellence Award for demonstrating a strong commitment to CSR, while the American Business “Stevie” Awards recognized Progress for “Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility.” Progress was also awarded second place by the b2b Media Business Awards for “Equality and Employee Care.”

These awards follow several recognitions we received in the first half of 2023. Boston Business Journal, Built In and WomenTech were just a few of the organizations that acknowledged our work in CSR and our efforts to build a thriving company culture.

“It is delightful to see our team members receive accolades for their unmatched achievements,” Yogesh Gupta, CEO, Progress, said at the time. “I congratulate them and look forward to their continued contributions to our organization as well as to the broad tech industry. I’m also honored for the company to receive awards for our CSR efforts as well as for being a great place to work. I’m grateful to our employees whose unrelenting passion for making a difference in our communities and the world is truly inspiring. Our employees make our company a great place to work, and it is a wonderful accomplishment to have it recognized by leading organizations.”

We’re honored to receive recognition for the work our people do. We know that our employees will continue to give back to their communities and make Progress a great place to work.
