Day Light Saving Changes

Hi,

I am bit confused after reading one of the KB articles.

If the clock is adjusted forward, the database manager does
not know this and takes no special action since a new time
stamp will be later than the old one. In this case, the
relative ages of clusters is known correctly. But the
absolute cluster age will be incorrect. A cluster may be
aged prematurely and reused too soon. If the system
crashes at this point (within a few minutes of the time
change), crash recovery may not be possible.

Now I am bit afraid and also relieved that my DB never crashed previously otherwise I could have ended in big trouble.

My question will it be ok to leave the DB up during daylightsaving or to play safe by bringing down the db and dthen do a restart.

Daylight saving is an interpretation on the system clock, not an actual change on the system clock. Not to worry.
