I have wrote a SmartWindow with a ProgressBar OCX that I want to use when the system is busy.
I have a procedure that creates an Excel document on the fly, which takes a few minutes. I want to be able to run this progressbar window and let it look nice and informative to the user whilst it is chugging away. I dont know how to run the two together. If I typr RUN progressbar PERSISTENT then it doesnt display it I remove the persistent then the excel creating window waits for the progressbar to finnish before creating the excel document.
What can I do.
I am using v8.2c with a SmartWindow but no smart objects on the window. There is a browse and other objects on the page.
