Starting On my Own

Hi guys and gals,

I am thinking of starting up on my own, developing custome software. What I was wondering was exactly what i would need, progress wise, to do this and roughly how much it would cost. Any ideas?

If your starting out from scratch why are you using Progress.

Its really expensive and a dying language. I'd go for VB .net and sql server.

We only use Progress because we a stuck with it.
