I'm using OpenEdge auditing as a mechanism for identifying changes in an OpenEdge database (third parties db) and syncing those changes into SQL Server database.
I have found that there is a table that doesn't have a unique primary key on it so using audit records alone I am unable to identify which target record to update.
Is there a way to make OpenEdge auditing output a record's ROWID in addition to the standard audit-data and audit-detail information?
(I understand the risks of using ROWID but in the situations where a ROWID changes a full rebuild of the SQL Server database will also be required so the risks are mitigated)
