Scheduled Process set has stop our database.

Submitted a process set to our OpenEdge 10.1B database, and now the Progress Explorer returns that it's "Starting" the Application Servers and the database returns that it's Starting, but then the DB returns an error and the Application Servers are stuck on "Starting"

Ran proutil mfgsys -C truncate BI (but here it just hangs)
Ran prostrct repair mfgsys (this was successful)

Next move is restoring the database.

* Update
Successfully restored the database, but not "after-image," so that isn't very good, lost 4-hours of data.

Still curious why submitted a "Process Set" that maxed the App Servers would cause the database to fail to start? Still have the old database that failed to start, and would like to figure out why it isn't starting.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

What does the database log file say? It is your best source of information when something goes wrong ...
