This full-time position located in Atlanta, GA at our corporate office will be responsible
for developing and maintaining computer software systems for the company. This person also performs technical analysis, develops technical specifications for project tasks and works with little supervision.
Responsibilities and Duties:
§ Develops and unit tests code, based on business requirements
§ Performs technical analysis, prepares technical specifications, coordinates development plans and uses various disciplines to achieve assigned goals
§ Monitors project schedules, notifies team manager/lead of any potential task variations regarding time allocations and budget concerns
Education/Experience Requirements:
§ Degree in computer science, information systems, business management or related field preferred
§ Five to seven years of client server software development experience in an UNIX, Linux or Windows environment
§ Three to five years of experience in a 4GL environment, Progress® preferred
§ Knowledge of insurance, annuity or mutual funds industries
