keyboard quits working in proc. editor

This has annoyed me for a couple of years. Has anyone else seen it?

I am often coding in the gui procedure editor. I'll switch to another app with Alt-Tab (check my mail perhaps). When I Alt-Tab back to the editor, the goofy editor won't respond to my keyboard until I hit "escape". Then It's fine again.

Is this a Progress Problem? I've not seen it in Notepad or any other editor.

btw, It's P83b on on a win2k pro workstation. tons of ram and disk space.

Yes this is a problem with the progress editor... one thing I've found to do is just move your mouse so that the pointer is not on the same line with the curser and keyboard control is returned

We used a Windows98 riched32.dll and it fixed the problem.
