I am using an activeX to retrieve a web email. I have accessed the message body text attribute which returns this string

The email I actually sent and the data which I am whish to manipulate and use comprises of
MESSAGE BODY
How can I simply access this data? I am guessing that a substring is required to retrieve what ever the data is between ><
Any help on the process to substring this would be great thanks in advance.
