.lk file

Hi

Im new to Progress admin and currently having difficulty with a new DB ive been asked to connect. when I try and start the service in procontrol I get told that my .lk file can not be fouond and to see event viewer.

I created the DB from a backup, do I need to do something extra to create the .lk file?

I need to get this DB up and running asap.

Have you looked at the permissions on both the directory the the database is in and the .lk file? I had this same problem and I found that the permissions were not set correctly on the directory that I had placed the copied db's in.
