aiverify use

I am sending AI files from my production box to an offsite dr box and then applying those AI files approximately five minutes later.

Everything appears to be working as planned, but I don't want to be fat, happy and stupid....

Should I be doing anything with aiverify against those AI files before application, or will the "roll forward" show me the same kind of errors?
