19+ years progress programming and still learning.
I been using Progress for about 10 years now and I have never had to use the DataServer before. I tried using it about 2 years ago when trying to connect to a mySQL Database via ODBC, only to find out that mySQL is not supported. Well it's come to that time now where I need to access a MS SQL Server in a different country on a different OS platform. So before I start setting up a DataServer has anyone successfully accessed a "MS SQL Server" running on Windows 2003 from a Linux Platform. I've read a ton of OpenEdge documentation on the subject and I think that I've got a good understanding on how is works. However I have not seen anything of Linux connecting to Windows and this concerns me.
