Hi there,
We use progress report builder, and can call a report from our manufacturing software package Vantage, via a custom report link.

All of a sudden, when we try to print a report from Vantage, the following error message pops up, and the print preview/change report filters screen closes.

unable to open file '\convmap.cp'

The Report link feature was working fine, and I am unaware of any changes we made which might affect the link.

I can still use the print feature of Report Builder, but of course no other user in our company can do so, they used to rely on the Custom Report link doing the printing for them.

Can anyone offer any assistance, it would be much appreciated.

Don't know if this helps, but we had a similar problem - although in our case it wasn't a link, users just opened report builder directly.

It was to do with using a network drive for the report builder binary shortcuts.

That is instead of pointed directly to the DLC installation:
p: --shares--> c:\progress\dlc

We fixed by making it one level higher
p: --shares--> c:\progress

Could something have changed with regard to the share where you run the report writer??
