Trouble Printing Using Output to Printer when running 4gl App on Cloude usign Remote Desktop

Has anyone experienced this issue?We have a 4GL application that produces several reports.To do this we use an output stream and direct it at the printer.Each line is a result of a put statement.Some of the lines contain control chars which cause pageing and font changes.When we run these programs on the cloud the output never comes out on the printer.We can print using notepad or anyother application on that sever.
