Syteline 5.0 DB won't start

Hi All,

We were running Syteline 5.0 and were purchased by another company and our systems/network etc... were absorbed into their way of doing things. As a result a had to change the name of the NT 4 server we were running Syteline on. This led to the following error message:

BROKER 0: The Host parameter supplied was fabgate, however, this Host is denver-symix. (5149)
BROKER 0: Begin normal shutdown (2248)

I have gone through every .pf, .ini and .bat I can find with a reference to the old server name and I have even updated the host file with new name.

Anyone have any ideas what I might be missing?

I hope someone has helped you by now, but just in case I will answer.

Your SyteLine license key is locked to a server name, you will need an updated key to use a new server name.
