OE RDBMS is supported and certified on many platforms also incredible linux platforms. But support for failover cluster is narrowed to enterprise class platforms (IBM & HP) and Windows Server (only 64-bit platform). It would be wonderful to get support for clustering services in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RH Cluster Suite) which are also available in CentOS distribution. It seems to be stable cluster manager and gives ability to clustering databases and e.g. virtual machines using libvirt. In my opinion if the RHEL is certified for OE, the RHCE should also be certified as cluster manager for OE. In database environment the failover cluster is a basic method to increase reliability and safety and I'm wondering why it is so neglected by PSC.
