Hi there! Greetings from Mexico.
I have this trouble: I send to com ports from my app, and when the printout is long (some 6 - 10 inches or so) the output is truncated. I assume that the com port as beign de-spolled it lost the data that can't be printed as fast as the computer sends the data.
I've used several tricks to print:
----------
output to xyz.tmp.
....
output close.
os-copy xyz.tmp \com1.
----------
output to \\machine\printer.
----------
output to com1.
etc. but the problem keeps constant....
i've tried to put some pauses in the printing procedure... but not a good solution in a network..
the printers i use are star sp200, sp2000, epson tmu200 (or something)
Does anyone knows about a spooler for com ports? or something?
is there any thing you can think about?
thanks a lot.
