Question Splitting of log message, written via LOG-MANAGER

Hello to everyone,

I have one question concerning the PROGRESS LOG-MANAGER System handle. Let me first explain the case:
1) I work with Progress Version 10.2B, Service Pack 07, Temp. Fix 00, Build 1699
2) On Windows 7 Professional (64-Bit), Service Pack 1;
3) I use LOG-MANAGER:WRITE-MESSAGE() method to write a message into some logfile;
4) Everything works so far as expected;
5) The Problem begins when the message, I'm writing, is longer then 528 signs. In this case the message will be written into the specified logfile, BUT it will be splited so that the first 528 signs (letters) are written as usual and the rest as a new entry of the logfile.
Questions:
1) Can somebody confirm this issue or is it just my individual case?
2) If it's a known issue, is there any documentation on that? (I could not find anything about this Splitting in online help for the Progress product I'm using, the Internet or the PDF documentary delivered with the Progress software)
3) Has somebody an idea, how to change this behaviour?

Thanks a lot in advance!
