Someone is using Open Edge 10.2A with Crystal Reports 2008

Good Morning.

Has anyone used Crystal Reports 2008 with Open Edge 2008?

In the latest version of Crystal Reports 2008 has removed the activex Connection.

As you call from progress a report? In the Knowledge base not explain how, only with previous versions of crystal, where he was active the activex.

Hey Xavi, any luck with this. The progress knowledge base has some info on this, I tried what it says to do but have had no luck.

You need a 'runtime' install for the activeX to work. This changed with Crystale 10. I created an install program which we use here. It fully support all the features thru BOXI, but some of the parameters in CR2008 are not. If you are interested let me know and I will burn you a copy. Rather a large set of fills so I can't download them to you. I also have a version that was created using VB, so I could send both. Nice thing is you don't need to have CR2008 installed on the computer, just the RDC part, which came with CR9.
