Hi,
We have a number of applications built using the AppBuilder with the Basic Widgets (Browsers, etc - not SmartObjects). As with many other developers, we have found that due to spped of development, we've come to a situation where our business logic is tightly integrated within our .r in classic client-server mode.
Of course, this methodology was fine in the past but we are now looking at a situation where we need to convert some of our code across to function with the AppServer. I know that the ideal road is to run with SmartObjects and ADM2 but due to time constraints etc, this may not be an option.
What I am looking for is some documentation on some of the principles of converting such code to run with the AppServer. I would imagine that it will involve temp-tables, external program calls etc. but it would be extremely useful to have some pointers to follow.
If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated.
