QAD to SAP interface creation..please help..

I am working in Progress mfg/pro for the last 1.5 years.. Now there is situation in which i have to make an interface between QAD and SAP..for data maping..Please help me..in making an interface..because i donno wat are the steps to be taken to start coding..i have never been worked on any interface programs...

actually i have not worked on creation of any interface programs.
can you help me in giving a sample program..so it will be a good help for me.

I think, you have to transfer some values from Mfg/Pro to SAP.

1. First collect, which fields needs to be send to SAP.
2. Write a progam, fetch the values and generate the flat file with required delimiter,like "|", .csv, .txt etc.,
3. Take care about FTP process if any.
