Qad File Output In Cyrillic

We have QAD database codepage utf-8 and we need to output a flat file consisting of name & address etc to be loaded to CRM warehouse. Fields contain Bulgarian Cyrillic characters so "export" and "put" creates a file with ????????? in the name address fields. Can some help with the syntax to convert this please. If it can be done.

In OUTPUT statement use CONVERT with TARGET "1251" (or other appropriate) to overwrite -cpstream.

The client and the database not necessarily are on the same page ( code page ). When possible - the code pages are compatible or you've rolled your own conversion rules - Progress will automagically convert between code pages.

The client usually takes the code page setting from the startup.pf residing in $DLC ( or %DLC% if you are on Windows ). This file is created during the installation from the input that was made during the installation. Furthermore there can be different settings for cpinternal and cpstream for a client. You should look for the -cpstream setting that your client uses.
