Progress Debugger In Hp-ux

I have been using PROGRESS in HP-UX since 5 years ago. Eversince I am not using debugger since I know it will not work in character mode. But since I am debugging a very complicated codes, I would like to use a debugger to monitor the program as it run. Does anybody know how can I use debugger in character mode, specially in HP-UX?
