Responsibilities:
- Lead migration from Progress 9.x to 10.x
- Primary contact for database tuning, architecture and data analysis.
- Perform necessary maintenance including ensuring adequate backups and recovery procedures.
- Perform all administrative functions (table modifications, index builds, views, etc.)
- 7x24 on call support
- Solid Progress experience (3+years). Prefer 5-10 years DBA experience.
- Communicate effectively written and oral.
- Bachelor Degree (some technical certifications PLUS)
