Output to Page - Length Max 3000

Hi Folks,

i'm sending reports to an output destination called 'Page' (Unix/8.6e).
It shows the report on the screen, but after 3000 lines it stops.
This is usually more than enough, but in this one special case, i require more than 3000 lines. Redirecting to a file or 'terminal' if not an option.

Any idea on if and where i can change this setting ?

Hi,

The program gppage.p is the program used to view the content of the file.

This program have a max_lines variable set to 3000, thats the reason.

yep, that's what i've been looking for. I knew the cause, but was probably to blind to find the appropriate program.

hello everybody,

i hv same problem for output to page.

i am using mfgpro eb2 version and for many of the a/c related reports this is the problem.

i have increased max_length to 10000 but it does not work, it gives error message that **unable to update field (142). Attempting to update data exceeding 32000.

So what to do then ?

Hope you guys can help me out in this.

try adding NO-UNDO when defining character variables.
