Extract, transform, and load.

It usually means that someone wants to export data out of the Progress db and into some other db for reporting or data warehousing sorts of purposes.

There is no one size fits all answer. No general purpose tutorials or downloads etc.

The specific version of Progress that you have makes a big difference. The application that you are extracting data from is also influential. Willingness to “transform” the data makes a difference too.
