Hello to all:

Here is the problem of the day.

When you access the Item Master General screen and pull up a part number it
displays the correct description. However, when you click on edit / text to
update the text it returns the wrong text in the text box.

As an example:

When you pull up part number 123 the description is bolt.
When you do an edit text the text box will have 11/2/99 expense report. (or
some description other than bolt).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you made any changes to the notes or the description field on the
items?

No, we haven't made any changes to the notes or the description field. But
once you perform the edit / text function the incorrect text is then placed
in the description. This has only happened to three or four parts.

Also, I forgot to mention we are running on syteline 3.5b01.

Have you done any manipulation of the notes table
or done any bulk data loading, or have a non-standard
program that creates or manipulates text ? It sounds
like you have two records pointing to the some notes
key.
