Is OpenEdge RDBMS 10 the next version of Progress?

New to Progress. We run Progress v8 & Progress v9. Is OpenEdge RDBMS 10 really just next version of Progress ("Progress ver 10") or is it a separate product?

Open Edge 10 IS the next version of Progress. I have had training for Progress V10, which were using/for Open Edge 10.

News flash... OE11 was released last week. OE10 is now poised to join the fraternity of ancient and obsolete release

Think of it as opportunity, not obligation. Like every other release, you should be able to switch with almost no effort. Like most releases, there is some good new stuff available when you are ready.
