How to unlock a table which was lucked

User shutdown OS when Posting , and then the table posted to is locked.
Can anybody help me how I can unlock it.

with ProMon utility you can clean such user/lock
Note: if your application uses several DBs, you will have to run ProMon on each where user locked records

Perhaps you could share an actual error message or other indication that something is "locked"?

Progress doesn't generally lock things at the table level - most locks are at the record level. Locks also don't survive shutdowns - so one would guess that either the users PC was rebooted, leaving a disconnected session running, or that there is some sort of application enforced locking going on outside of the normal Progress database locking.
