Hi,
Just want to describe clearer from my previous posted thread.
This is the scenario...
My company does provide repair (Service) to the machine that had sold and many times, may be some part of the machine will send back for service. And this service will have certain operations need to be done.
So, how is this case handle in SL7?
I have a rough idea but dont know whether it is a correct way or not. So I neeed guys help on this...
There are few things to be bear in mind,
1. This service needs to create a JOB.
2. The inventory value will not be affected by the cost of this item(service). I mean the manufactured cost should not roll up from production because it will affect the inventory value. This is just a service. It is not the materials.
3. APS should plan for this order because resources and materials is required and will be occupied by the JOB.
Anyone has better solutions??? Pls advise.... Thank you very much.
