I just want to learn more about progress in especial how to truncate a db because i wanna migrate from 10.0b to 10.1b

Why do you need to truncate the db?
How can you go from Progress 10.x to Progress 10.x ???
PSC have evolved the product into OpenEdge. Progress joined the Eclipse foundation for v10 and released the OpenEdge product. OpenEdge 10.1 / OpenEdge 10.2

You have to truncate BI to go to 10.1B:

proutil path-to-database/databasename -C truncate bi

I could solve it

I used proutil path-to-database/databasename -C truncate bi and proutil path-to-database/databasename -C word-rules 4 commands

In this order, I migrated from 10.0 to 10.1

I run it from pronv oe100b
