Find the .W than ran this Procedure?

What im basically trying to do is find the current file name that it was saved as at runtime?

I'm writing some sort of tracking system for our software. It's an external procedure. I want to run it from a screen. And i will do database work in this procedure.

My issue is so it's one less parameter i have to pass and hard code is there a dynamic way to find out what .w ran this specific procedure.

This is kind of hard for me to explain. So i hope you guys could understand what i meant from that.

not sure this gets what you are looking for, but check out PROGRAM-NAME in help

PROGRAM-NAME(3) , will return you the calling procedure's name.

thanks i ended up using program-Name(1) that worked for what i was trying to accomplish.
