Hello,
Recently we have 1124 errors on our DB. First lets describe our configuration where we had this error on.
It a Unixware 7.1.1 NonStop Cluster with 4 node.
2x Compaq RA4100 Disc cabinets which are both connected to
different machines. The nodes are 2x Compaq DL380 with 2 CPUs and 4Gb of RAM and 2x Compaq Proliant 7000 with 4 XEON CPUs and also 4Gb of RAM.
On this config we got this 1124 error. To ensure that it wasn't a hardware defect we took 1 node and reconfigured it as an UW7.1.1 machine without the NonStop Cluster kernel. We used the same hardware we used for the Cluster and now the error isn't returned!!! The only thing which is diferent is that we used -directio on the cluster and now we have tuned the kernel and are not using -directio (the NBUF and NHBUF parameters are tuned).
Has anyone ever also had the same problem?
Can somebody help me or give me some advice?
