hi all,

(am not using any GUI tool,am using linux server RHEL 2.6.9 and its a test box)
i am having two DB's say (sample1 and sample2) in two different directory .now i want to add a new table to sample2 and that table should be from sample1.
1) how i want to do it with dump and load method -not by any tool, only by utility(steps please)?
and 2) after dumpling and loading the required table from sample1 to sample2....can i view the table in sample2 means using tool(in Tools---->data dictionary-->Database-->Reports-->Detailed Table)?
3) Pls can u explain (an IDEA:idea1: about) Dump and Load in short and sweet
?
4) wat the difference between 'binary dump and load' AND 'ASCII dump and load'?

(P.S-->am having the document but self study is going on, tats y huge doubts....even i just completed my college life and started my career as Progress DBA.....)
