dbtool and Program Compiles

I'm using OpenEdge Release 10.1C03. I plan on running the dbtool option to scan and fix the SQL Width. If the dbtool makes the SQL width larger does the table's CRC change? If yes, does that mean all programs that reference that table need to be re-compiled?

No it wont effect crc, you can use it.

It only updates the SQL Width of the meta schema for the given table.
