creating DSN on server??

Can someone please help me.. I have my asp pages and configured my ODBC link & DSN to connect to the database. Everything works fine in my pc.. now I need to transfer my asp pages on a SQLServer.. do I need to move the Progress db to the SQLServer also or can I just set the ODBC DSN to point to the database?? How do I create the DSN on the server?? I'm confused...please help..

U can just create a DSN on the Server to link to the required database. Create a DSN on the server from the System DSN tab which appears on clicking the ODBC Data Sources from the control panel.
