Sorry, I was just kidding - it was not my intention to offend you in any way.

I am not aware of any.

Since with OpenEdge 10.2 Progress itself offers a new GUI client which is in fact a .NET UI developed in the Progress development environment ( OpenEdge Architect ) rendered with the .NET common runtime, it seems possible for such a tool to emerge.

To be honest, I heard about things the other way round ( like Progress ABL to Java code ) but so far I have not seen anything that lives up to their vendor's promises. Especially when it comes to the effort you really need to invest to make it happen regardless what sales reps are telling you.

No. There are companies which offer translation in the opposite direction, but not that way ... and frankly, one doesn't get a pretty result even then.

On the other hand it is trivial to convert most .NET c# code samples to progress 4gl. It is mostly a matter of changing dots to colons.
