Connecting SQL 2000 to Progress 9.1C

I'm trying to conect add a progress database to our SQL Server as a Linked Server but I don't have the option for the Merant Databse in the Other Data Source. Does anyone one know what needs to be installed first on the Progress server to be able to connect the two. When I select Other Data Source. I have the option for Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server. Does this also need to be installed on the Progress Server. Please help or point me in the right direction?
