Application Program Interface (API) to Symix

We have posed the following questions to Symix and are wondering if any
Symix users could help us in answering these
questions.

Q: Is there a toolkit of APIs that I can use to add data into the
Symix system?
Q: I will be coding using Active Server Pages on Microsoft's
Internet Information Server (IIS) 4.0. Are there any known issues
using ASP to interact with Symix?
Q: Are there any Symix products that I should be aware of that may
make my interaction and coding with Symix easier?

Thanks in Advance -
Debbie

I do think this yells: WEBSPEED ! ... It is the Progress Tool to interact
with databases ... I don't know about the compatibility with MS ASPs (IIS
and ASP, not Linux, Apache and cgi ? ...)

What happened with the SyteWeb product ?

Debbie,

I have some information that may be of interest to you about a product called the "Transaction Manager for Syteline". I have some attachments to explain the product that I won't send through the peg, but I would like to send them to you offline. I'm having trouble sending to your email address, "Unrecoverable Error", "User Unknown", etc. Let me know how I can reach you.

This is a good product to use intermittently ( while waiting for Symix to
provide some API capability). We are currently using this product to
integrate a PDM software package with Syteline. Transaction Manager is a
straight forward and easy to use tool. On top of that, the people at DRI
really knows the Syteline product. And, "no" I do not work for DRI, I am
just a customer :)

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
