You Can Now Attach Files to Your Posts!

I have added some new scripts and modifications to allow all users to easily attach any files to your posts here at ProgressTalk.com. If you look at the bottom of the message window on whenever you click on "New Topic" or "Reply", you'll see a paper-clip icon link that says "Insert a file or image into your post". To attach a file, simply click this link, which will bring up a little browser window which will allow you to select any file on your system. Just type in the filename, or click "Browse". To upload the file, just click on the "Upload" button. There will be a short delay while the file is being uploaded. You will then see a confirmation screen after the file to uploaded, along with a HTML link to the file. Just copy this link and then paste it into your message to create a hot link for people for view/download your file. The link will look like this: <A HREF="http://www.fast4gl.com/ubb/uploads/itworks.txt">itworks.txt</A>

This is very handy for uploading source code that you are having problems with, or to share programs that may be useful to others! Please feel free to email me with any questions or comments about this new feature.
