Is the code just a short few lines? Where/how would it be run?

Are you able write me the code and compile it? (Pleeeeeeease! :) )

Just need .d file loaded with .df file that's it.

Thanks

Why don't you have the person who did the dump show you the menu. Once into the dictionary, it really is just a question of poking around in the menu... nothing obscure, nothing oddly labeled, nothing mysterious.

Seeing the menu isn't a problem. It's loading the data at my end. The admin menu is greyed out probably due to the license I have.

Just looking for a quick and easy way other than upgrading license just for a single load of data.

Maybe a better way would be to setup an ODBC.

Do you have any idea how to setup an odbc between Progress v9.1 on Unix to MS SQL Server?

What would I need to install on the unix end and what would I need to install on the SQL server end?

Is it pretty straightforward? I know I can download the ODBC from Data direct but not sure how to set it up.

Thanks

Got the dev license now.

I need to add a new AREA called "Data Area" (as my .df refers to this)

I need to run the command: prostrct add <db name> <.st file>

How do I run the command? Where exactly would I run this? Through Data administrator / Data Dictionary?

Thanks
