current setup:
openedge 10.2b server running on linux with reflection terminal users using appl.
would a following scenario be possible ?
- installing a dataserver for mssql in linux and creating a dataserver schema for each mssql 2000 database on win-server.
- creating openedge batch procedures that exchange data between oe and mssql
i know it's the old style, point to point integration (not message & bus based).
i just want to know if it's possible in linux or do i need to create an extra OE client environment in windows to be able to connect to the different databases ?
