URL in messages not working

I seem to be having trouble putting URLs into messages eg:

WILL NOT WORK,
How will windows know to make this a hyperlink to execute in a browser? You CAN NOT use populate a message box with a URL. PROWIN32 doesn't interact with I.E that way

No you have misunderstood.

The message was for Chris Schreiber and I was refering to the forum and the inability to post URLs in forum messages, as my example post shows.
