Hi GURUs

How does the jdbc driver know that where is the database is located for access?

How does the Apache Tomcat know that where is the database and which one?

How can I connect MySQL database running on the local server Apache Tomcat to do the records manipulation using JDBC.

Please help me by providing solutions...
