up & down printer

How do i program up & down printer in line production?

Sometime printer status is down and cannot print any label.
and then i to up printer by command -- qadm -U printername.

But i want to do program for up printer and add this program to mfgpro menu.

please. help me
Comment i start learning mfgpro on 2 last week. and i weekly mfgpro.

So you have some printers that are up and running and some printers that are not working and you want to set up the PLC commands for the printers that are worrking or am I completely in left field on this?

If I understand correctly write a program which does following command from progress,

UNIX silent qadm -U printername
