I have been asked to look for any sort of software program that would work with SyteLine to "check" Customer Addresses for validity (ie: checking what's been entered in SyteLine against the USPS address database). As wrong as I feel it would be to work outside the system, that's apparently what they are looking for -- some sort of product that would "check" all the address info in some sort of ASCII file we would generate from SyteLine via Progress; it would FLAG/MARK only those records it had to fix; and then someone would go back into SyteLine manually and make those changes.
I can't seem to find anything like this, nor can I find any sort of product which WOULD work hand-in-hand with SyteLine so we wouldn't have to do this "outside the system".
We are currently on SL 3.5b01a, Progress 8.2c19.
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions, please?
