Tones with Telnet

Has anyone out there ever heard of a solution for getting tones to a machine running a Telnet session. I have an application where the users want different tones at different points in the program, but don't know how I can do this since the terminals are running emulation.

Any ideas?

A quick search on the net turned up FacetWin.

I appears to be able to invoke Commands on the controling PC.

Might be worth a closer look. I must say this is an interesting request - sounds like your work place is full of fun projects!
