Has anyone sucessfully used the Runtime Widget-id assignment tool that can be accessed from the Pro*Tools menu?
If my understanding of this is correct you can run a smart window through the tool and it will generate an XML file containing unique widget ID's for all the widgets contained within objects within that window. This can then be used with the -usewidgetid startup parameter to allow automation tools to consistently identify the same widget using its unique id.
The problem I have is that my XML file identifies the SDV's and SDB contained within the window but its does not include ids for the widgets within them.

It may be that I am not understanding the process but any help or pointers would be appreciated.
