Hello,

OS : HPUX 10.20
Database : Progress 7.3E16
MfgPRO : 7.3K

Sometimes, we have some RCT-FAS transactions in tr_hist generated by 7.12.13 menu for configured products.
it distorts the stock and there are gaps in the inventory.

So, can someone explain me why these RCT-FAS transactions are generated and can they by removed ??

HELP !!!

Thanks.

RCT-FAS is related to mechanism of Final ASsembly.
Your company has created Configured Products. This is done when one creates product with customer specs.

Alright sofar the theory.

RCT-FAS are generated when configured products are used in relation to Work Orders and in 8.24 you have selected Receive F/A in SO.
Normally you would generated RCT-WO. But with this indicator when you ship your Sales Order and the endproduct is not received it wil generate an RCT-FAS for end-product and ISS-FAS for the components.

Deleting of these transactions is not advisable, or you have to delete them transaction by transaction with
3.21.23 Transactions Delete/Archive.

Hello William W,

The configuration in 8.24 is :
Receive F/A in SO : No
Receive F/A in WO : Yes
A/F Order Unit : No

When we have RCT-FAS, we create a new transaction to cancel the RCT-FAS but we never delete RCT-FAS transaction.

What we want is to avoid to do this.

Have you an idea ??

Bests regards,

Laurent.
